Late-kingdom rosters. Newer heroes generally carry ~20% higher base stats than the prior generation, so expect a real power spike each time — but that doesn't mean immediately discarding older heroes (see the transition note at the bottom).
Generation 5 (unlocks ~Day 280)
- Vivian — described as "the ultimate force multiplier." Her signature skill ("Crouching Tiger") makes the entire enemy army take 25% more damage from all your squads — a global amplification effect that stacks with everything else. Pair her with a strong cavalry/archer damage dealer (Yang or Ava once available) to maximize the payoff.
- Long Fei — part of the Gen 5 core; check current role/skill data in-game as this hero's exact kit info was less consistently reported across sources.
- Thrud — takes over as the cavalry rally leader role from Petra once available.
Generation 6 (release timing varies by server)
Generation 7 (released May 25, 2026 on Kingdoms #1–25; unlocks around Day 440-449+)
- Ava — Gen 7 cavalry addition; slots into rally cores once your server hits the Day 449+ window.
- Charles — commonly recommended as your Gen 7 garrison anchor (add him alongside Zoe/Eric/Alcar).
- Wee & Woo — slots into Bear Hunt joiner stacks (alongside Chenko + Amane + Margot) once available.
Suggested Rally/Garrison Cores at Gen 7 (adjust to your server's actual generation)
- Rally core across lanes: Petra + Vivian + Yang + Ava
- Garrison core: Zoe + Eric + Alcar (+ Charles once unlocked)
- Bear Hunt joiner stack: Chenko + Amane + Margot (+ Wee & Woo once unlocked)
Important transition reminder
Older heroes lose raw combat stat competitiveness in Conquest as new generations arrive, but their Expedition skill buffs often stay relevant far longer. Don't necessarily keep pouring stars/shards into them once outclassed — but keep them slotted in Expedition and Bear Hunt lineups until a direct, confirmed upgrade is available. A few heroes (Amadeus, Helga, Marlin) are widely considered exceptions that remain S+ tier because their Expedition buffs are irreplaceable — no newer hero replicates what they bring to team-wide damage/survival.
