For brand-new alliance members. Point people here first before anything else in the vault.
Core Loop
Kingshot combines city-building (like Clash of Clans) with real-time territory control, tactical warfare, and alliance-driven conquest — it's not just base-building, there's an ongoing map/war layer on top.
First Week Priorities
- Join an alliance immediately (you're already in [ONE]OneForAll — welcome!) — solo play is dramatically weaker than alliance play
- Build Jabel up — she's free (Day 2 login) and remains useful for 4+ generations as a garrison anchor. See Jabel.
- Upgrade your Town Center steadily — it gates almost every other system (Hero Gear at 15, Governor Charms at 25, Red Gear conversion at 30)
- Don't neglect resource production — efficient economy is what lets you actually use everything else
- Play defensively early — Kingshot rewards strong defensive positioning over aggressive early attacks; don't overextend before you have troops to spare
Systems to Learn, In Order
- Hero Overview and Roles — understand main march vs joiners before touching gear
- Governor Stamina — governs your world-map actions from day one, worth understanding early
- Hero Gear Guide — once you hit Town Center 15
- Event Calendar and 4-Week Cycle — know what's coming so you're not caught off guard
- F2P Priority Guide — if you're not spending money, read this early
- Governor Gear Guide and Governor Charms Guide — once Town Center 25+
Don't Do This
- Don't spread hero investment across many heroes in week one — pick 2-3 and commit
- Don't skip Bear Hunt or Mystic Trial even if you're busy — they're the two best weekly material sources
- Don't ignore alliance events because you feel "too weak" — even minimal participation usually counts for something
